Don't think we're not gonna notice what you did there, using the doorway to try & distract us from the discontinuity in the height of the masonry surface.
I see where the tall height of your area of masonry @ the left is maybe preventing you from centering your awning above your doorway isn't it. Ya like to drape yr shoptowel over yr horizontal doorhandle don't ya.

On N. King St., in Chinatown, downtown Honolulu, the few blocks of little shops advertise by hanging signs from the corrugated metal awnings that protecct the pedestrians from sun and rain. The mix of information and languages creates an intriquing urban collage.
